In advance of migration from On-Prem into the Cloud, GT Projects were engaged to assist with a security remediation project. The existing flat network was segregated into legacy services / hardware that could not easily be migrated into the Cloud, by way of implementing VMWare NSX based Firewall rule based security, decommissioning obsolete servers (Virtual & Physical) and building a new DMZ within which these legacy servers were migrated into.
GT Projects Ltd provided On-boarding Consultancy & Project Management services to this Danish based real time Financial information provider. This included managing all SaaS based environments to allow for bespoke client application implementation including connectivity to external 3rd party information providers such as Reuters, Refintiv and others, to end clients based in Paris, Munich and Stockholm.
As part of Axa's On-Prem to Cloud Data migration, GT Projects were responsible for the migration of approximately 90 business bespoke EUC applications, based mainly around Access & Excel with local file shares and storage. GT Projects assisted in the migration of all data stored on local file shares with their associated application and migrated these into Azure.
Our Consultants were engaged to carry out 2 separate projects:
1. Migration of 72no. on-prem servers / Applications (virtual & physical) within Geneva, to new HCI technologies in Bern, Switzerland.
2. Provision of new Company / Departmental multi-Application suite into Dubai based Azure subscription. Both projects involve teams distributed around the world, (California, Buenos Aires, Holland, Finland, Poland, Switzerland, India, Australia).
Working within highly regulated Client Audit industry. GT Projects Ltd provided consultancy for the strategy for migrating a number of industry related applications from On-Prem into the Cloud. This involved working with both Business Team leaders & 3rd Party Application vendors to ensure the most efficient way of of migrating into the Cloud. This included application transformation into SaaS/PaaS or migration onto IaaS where vendors were unable to support or provide a PaaS based solution.
